Practice Information

• Clients are usually billed at the current rate set by the Australian Psychological Society. Concessional rates may be applicable for low income clients.
• Medicare rebates are available for clients who are referred by their GP or psychiatrist under the Mental Health Treatment Plan for 10 sessions per calendar year. Her clients are eligible for the clinical specialist rebate from Medicare. These services are also eligible to count toward the Medicare Safety Net.
• Clients can claim a rebate from their Private Health Insurers, but not concurrently with a Medicare rebate. Dr Julien is a provider with many private health funds.
• Dr Julien has a cancellation policy of 24 business hours and charges the full fee if notice is not given within that time frame.

Professional Ethics

• Dr Julien abides by the APS Code of Ethics.
• Confidentiality is of prime importance and maintained.
• Dr Julien manages private information collected as part of the assessment, diagnosis and treatment in accordance with the National Privacy Principles Act 2000. Clinical notes are maintained solely for her perusal to provide an informed and relevant psychological service.
• Dr Julien abides by the APS Charter for Clients of Psychologists.
